We wish to acknowledge your contribution towards the successful completion of our Derwent Terrace, Blackburn contract. 13 Bungalows to be built for the Together Housing Association. Blackburn has a shortage of properties providing affordable rented housing of all types urgently needed.
The demographic of our projects prospective tenant grouping was 55+
The scheme brief initially was to provide 7 pairs of small semi-detached bungalows to the Together housing specification. Plans were prepared but needed adjustment to satisfy updated client specifications and building regulations.
We were asked to, affordably, ensure a standard of construction to achieve EPC A with elevated level of insulation. The reorientation of the build to optimise the inclusion of integrated solar panels with a sophisticated battery and associated management system. This to work alongside and power air source heat pump providing efficient central heating, hot water storage and EV charging. Sustainability, cost of living improvement for the occupants now!
Our client has retrofitted systems to existing stock with success. We were requested to deliver a New Build, affordable, to meet Togethers future sustainability aspirations.
Together we have delivered affordable housing to a high standard of construction and sustainability.
